Everything in this section will be password protected. This is very important, as we do not want an unauthorized persons to gain access to the personal contact information of our committee members.
Members of the Livestock Committee will need to register to access this portion of the website. Ideally, in order to register, the user will be required to enter their HLSR Member number, which would be cross-referenced in the committee database. Any member number that is not already registered in the database will need to contact the site administrator in order to register.
We will also be using the registration to create a mailing list for news and updates for all committee members.
Summary: The resources required for the Members Only section are:
Some sort of database.
Registration and authentication capabilities.
Some sort of password protection.
A mailing list manager.
